My friend Cara and I finally went to New York Fashion Week this year—we bought tickets on Gilt to see Lie Sangbong‘s show at Chelsea Piers.
After we checked in, we ran straight to the bar for champagne cocktail hour, then checked out the rooftop bar and the Jay Godfrey SS16 presentation on the second floor. I had a starstruck moment when I bumped into Mondo Guerra from Project Runway…
We got great seating to begin with, but then we were actually upgraded to VIP seating right behind Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe.
The SS16 line was gorgeous—I fell in love with how the looks were well-constructed, yet super feminine at the same time.
