Kick off Your New England Summer at the Newport Oyster Festival

It’s going to be a shucking amazing weekend in Newport

The fundraising strategy for non-profit organizations in Newport, Rhode Island is simple—throw an awesome party that everyone will want to be a part of.

If you need proof, look up Newport Polo’s annual ball, The International Yacht Restoration School’s gala or newportFILM’s annual friend-raiser.

The Newport Oyster Festival at Bowen’s Wharf will be held Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21 and will benefit the Ocean State Aquaculture Association & SSV Oliver Hazard Perry.

The exclusive opening night party on Friday night will serve all-you-can-eat freshly shucked oysters and have an open bar, courtesy of Moet & Chandon. There are a limited number of tickets available, so be sure to figure your plans out now for Newport Oyster Festival weekend!

If you want to skip on Friday night, general admission tickets are available for Saturday and Sunday. Tickets purchased in advance will include four fresh, RI oysters and a beverage which you can collect at the main entrance check-in.
