When I go to Connecticut to catch up with my girlfriends, one of the things we love to do is go to South Norwalk, appropriately nicknamed SoNo for being an hour away from Manhattan.
We ended up doing brunch at the SoNo Baking Company, a local treasure situated away from the town’s main drag.
The SoNo Baking Company, a bakery and gourmet café, was founded by one of Martha Stewart’s colleagues. Everything is made fresh and tastes fresh—I would recommend the SoNo Benedict for brunch with local tea.
Update: In addition to the original South Norwalk location, SoNo Baking Company is also in Darien, CT (49 Tokeneke Road) and Southport, CT (353 Pequot Avenue).
